Tide slides back to 3rd
Playing in cold, showery, windy conditions the Glencoe Crimson Tide shot a team score of 325 to finish third in the fourth round of Pacific Conference action at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club. Playing at the par 71 Ghost Creek Course the Tide was led by sophomore Emmet Meiers who finished fourth individually shooting a season low 77. Meiers had a birdie on each side to go with eight pars.
Newberg gained the top spot on Tuesday firing a 316 followed by Sherwood at 319. The Glencoe JV was led by Freshman Tyler Rogers' 41 and took first place in the team competition edging Sherwood 174 to 176. The Tide is right back into action on Thursday traveling to Creswell to participate in the State Preview at Emerald Valley Golf Club. |
