Quail Valley Tames Tide
Quail Valley Golf Course proved why it's in the state tournament rotation as the Crimson Tide shot a team score of 354 on Tuesday afternoon. The Crimson Tide once again finish 3rd in round three of the Pacific Conference Boys Golf competition. Sherwood at 329 and Newberg 335 finished 1st and 2nd ahead of the Tide. Glencoe junior Isaac Ramberg used a birdie on 11 and sank a 12 eagle putt on 17 to finish in a tie for 2nd at seven over par 79. Senior Isaiah Dewey finished tied for 10th with a round of 86 that included two birdies. Freshman Cohen Barackman made his varsity debut and shot a 104. The Tide travels to McMinnville next Tuesday for round four at Michelbook Country Club.
